The SNF has appointed three Open Access Ambassadors of actionuni

The Open Access Ambassadors will support the SNF in promoting its Open Access Policy to researchers in Swiss higher education institutions.

New representative to the SHK, Lena Hehemann

We are happy to announce that actionuni has found an ad interim representative to the Schweizerische Hochschulkonferenz SHK / Conférence suisse des hautes écoles CSHE / Conferenza svizzera delle scuole universitarie CSSU.

Lena Hehemann (cand. Ph.D., Law Faculty, Insitute for European Law, University of Fribourg) will replace our current representative, Ruth Lyck (PD PhD, Medical Faculty, Theodor Kocher Institute, University of Bern).

We want to use this opportunity to sincerely thank Ruth Lyck for her dedication and continued endeavor on behalf of actionuni.

New structure of presidency of actionuni

Last week, on 6 April,  actionuni held its yearly assembly of delegates. Amongst other business, the board was elected, seeing some old and new faces.

Carla Duss (PH Lucerne) and Andrea Tamas (ZHAW) were confirmed as co-presidents; additionally SAR-representative Florian Lippke (University of Fribourg) was elected as co-president. The change to having three instead of two co-presidents was initiated by the board and acknowledges the importance to always represent the three types of universities in Switzerland.

Der Mittelbau stellt sich neu auf

Aufgrund des neuen Hochschulförderungs- und -koordinationsgesetzes (HFKG), das voraussichtlich 2015 in Kraft treten wird, formiert sich der Schweizer Mittelbau komplett neu. Der Verein «actionuni der Schweizer Mittelbau» hat sich neu organisiert und vertritt neben den ETHs und den kantonalen Universitäten nun auch die Fachhochulen und PHs.
